This policy explains what we do with your personal information when you visit House of CARV or place an order.
Who is responsible for your data
House of CARV is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us about anything on this page at house.of.carv@outlook.com.
What we collect
- Information you give us. Your name, email address, delivery and billing address, phone number if you provide one, and the content of any message you send us.
- Order information. The items you buy, amounts paid, order history and delivery status.
- Payment information. Handled by our payment provider. We receive confirmation of the transaction and limited details such as the outcome and the last digits of the card. We do not hold full card numbers.
- Technical information. Your IP address, device and browser type, and the pages you visit. See our Cookie Policy.

Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the categories of recipient below, and only as far as needed:
- Our e-commerce platform and hosting provider
- Our payment provider
- Our logistics and delivery partners, so your order can reach you

- Public authorities, where the law requires it
We do not sell your personal information.
International transfers
We operate from outside the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. Your personal information may therefore be transferred to, and processed in, countries outside those areas. This includes passing your delivery address to a logistics partner so that your order can be shipped.
Where we transfer personal information out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on a recognised transfer mechanism, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the equivalent clauses issued by the competent UK authority, unless the destination country is covered by an adequacy decision.
How long we keep it
- Order and transaction records. Kept for as long as required by tax and accounting law.
- Customer service messages. Kept for up to 24 months after your enquiry is resolved.
- Analytics and marketing data. Kept until you withdraw consent, and in any case no longer than 14 months.
Your rights in the European Union
You have the right to access your personal information, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time, without affecting anything done before you withdrew it.

You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in the country where you live.
Your rights in the United Kingdom
You have the same set of rights: access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, and withdrawal of consent at any time.

Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects you and the law requires it, we will tell you and the relevant authority.
Children
This site is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us their details, contact us and we will delete them.
Changes and contact
